Statistics: Russia’s gas production falls 13.5% in January
MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s natural gas production decreased by 13.5% on the year but grew 1.6% on the month to 52.2 billion cubic meters in January, the Federal State Statistic Service said in a statement on Wednesday.
The output of associated petroleum gas decreased by 4.7% on the year and rose by 2.9% on the month to 8.8 billion cubic meters.
In 2022, the output of gas fell by 13.4% to 573 billion cubic meters, while the production of associated petroleum gas decreased by 2% to 99 billion cubic meters.
